First Nations Round will begin in NSW this Sunday when the GIANTS take on the Adelaide Thunderbirds.

Get there early to enjoy a special high performance curtain raiser where the First Nations All Stars will take on the GIANTS Academy team- first centre pass from 2:15pm. If you can’t make the game, tune in on Facebook Live via the Netball NSW page. You can also check out our Indigenous art vendors in the Fan Zone, and but be sure to get back to your seat by 3:20 for a special on-court performance from the Jannawi Dance Clan. The match between the GIANTS and the Adelaide Thunderbirds is also not to be missed- with two finals spots still up for grab in 2022, and 6 teams still in contention for them, you can bet the GIANTS will give their everything on the court!

In our second weekend of First Nations Round celebrations, the reigning Super Nebtall champion NSW Swifts will open the gates early (at midday) for their Round 13 clash with the West Coast Fever, to welcome all guests with a Smoking Ceremony in the Fan Zone area. The Swifts are also hosting a community curtain raiser match between local First Nations Clubs, the Minhis part of Randwick Netball Association, and Tristan & Mary, recent winners of the Blacktown Koori Gala Day Carnival. Enjoy some time in the Fan Zone, but be back in your seats by 1:30 for the Swifts arena call on and a Welcome to Country Ceremony. A win against the West Coast Fever, but could lock in a top 4 and finals spot for the Premiers. Get ready to cheer loudly!
